Fresh mustard greens are carefully trimmed to retain the thick stems, then repeatedly sun-dried and salt-cured before being pressed to remove excess brine. Chili powder is added before the mustard greens are packed into jars and naturally fermented for several months, developing their distinctive savory aroma, crisp texture, and satisfying bite.

Made without preservatives, the recipe contains only mustard greens, salt, and chili powder. Rinse and cook thoroughly before serving, then use in stir-fries, soups, or other home-style dishes where its fermented savory flavor and crunchy texture can add extra depth.
